Overview
Chopta is often called the 'Mini Switzerland of India' due to its pristine beauty and lush green meadows. Located at 2,680 meters, it serves as the base camp for Tungnath and Chandrashila treks. The region is covered with forests of pine, deodar, and rhododendron, and offers stunning views of Himalayan peaks including Trishul, Nanda Devi, and Chaukhamba.
