Overview

Madhmaheshwar (also called Madhyamaheshwar) is the fourth temple in the Panch Kedar pilgrimage. It is dedicated to Lord Shiva's navel (Nabhi). Located at 3,497 meters, the temple is surrounded by snow-capped peaks and lush green meadows called bugyals. The trek passes through charming villages like Ransi and offers views of Kedarnath, Neelkanth, and Chaukhamba peaks.
