Kedarnath

Lord Shiva (Jyotirlinga)

One of 12 Jyotirlingas and the most challenging Dham. The ancient temple survived the 2013 floods miraculously. Helicopter service available.

Badrinath

The most significant of the Char Dham, dedicated to Lord Vishnu. The temple was established by Adi Shankaracharya in the 9th century.

Day 1

Delhi → Barkot

Drive 300 km via Dehradun and Mussoorie (8 hours). Rest in Barkot for next day's trek.

Day 2

Barkot → Yamunotri → Barkot

Drive to Janki Chatti, then 6 km trek to Yamunotri temple. Return trek and drive back to Barkot.

Day 3

Barkot → Uttarkashi

Drive 100 km (4 hours). Visit Vishwanath Temple. Prepare for Gangotri the next day.

Day 4

Uttarkashi → Gangotri → Uttarkashi

Day trip to Gangotri (100 km each way). Temple darshan. Return to Uttarkashi by evening.

Day 5

Uttarkashi → Guptkashi

Long drive via Tehri Dam (200 km, 8 hours). Base for Kedarnath trek.

Day 6

Guptkashi → Kedarnath

Drive to Gaurikund, then 18 km trek or helicopter to Kedarnath. Overnight at temple.

Day 7

Kedarnath → Guptkashi

Early morning darshan. Trek down to Gaurikund (or helicopter). Drive to Guptkashi.

Day 8

Guptkashi → Joshimath

Scenic drive via Chopta junction (200 km, 7 hours). Rest before Badrinath.

Day 9

Joshimath → Badrinath → Joshimath

Early drive to Badrinath (45 km). Darshan, Tapt Kund bath, Mana Village visit. Return to Joshimath.

Day 10

Joshimath → Rudraprayag

Relaxed drive down (160 km, 5 hours). Buffer day for rest or delays.

Day 11

Rudraprayag → Haridwar

Drive to Haridwar (165 km, 5 hours). Evening Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri.

Day 12

Haridwar → Delhi

Return to Delhi (230 km, 5 hours). Yatra complete.
